Pre-orders open for “AMERICAN WEREWOLF” book “BEWARE THE MOON”

The complete story of the making of John Landis’ classic AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is chronicled in BEWARE THE MOON, a fully illustrated hardcover book that is now available for pre-order.

Author Paul Davis (who also created the documentary of the same title) has packed this 200-page volume with interviews with more than 35 of AMERICAN WEREWOLF’s cast and crew (Landis, stars David Naughton, Griffin Dunne and Jenny Agutter, makeup FX creator Rick Baker et al.), over 300 color behind-the-scenes photos, many never published before, tributes from the likes of Guillermo del Toro, Neil Marshall, Edgar Wright, Greg Nicotero, Tom Savini, Eli Roth, Wes Craven and others, a foreword by filmmaker Mick Garris, a look at how AMERICAN WEREWOLF inspired the creation of Michael Jackson’s THRILLER video, a visit with creature collector Bob Burns and his AMERICAN WEREWOLF collection and more.

Sporting a cover by famed horror illustrator Graham Humphreys, BEWARE THE MOON is limited to a Collector’s Edition of 1,000 signed and numbered copies, and ships in August (just in time for the 35th anniversary of AMERICAN WEREWOLF’s release). The price is £24.99 (UK shipping £9, rest of the world £15.60); for the U.S., total cost including tracked shipping comes out to $58. Click here to pre-order!
