Sci-fi suspense goes hi-def as 1980’s SATURN 3 arrives in December as part of Shout! Factory’s Scream Factory line. Read on for the full details and the cover art.

SATURN3DISCNEWSProduced and directed by Stanley Donen (in a change of pace from his usual Hollywood musicals), SATURN 3 stars Kirk Douglas and Farrah Fawcett as Adam and Alex, scientists whose idyllic existence in a subterranean facility of Saturn’s moon Titan is interrupted by the arrival of Benson (Harvey Keitel, who delivers the classic line “Your body is very beautiful; I’d like to use it”) and his “helper robot” Hector, which goes homicidally haywire. Shout!’s Blu-ray/DVD combo streets December 3, sporting a new high-definition transfer plus the following extras:

• Audio commentary by SATURN 3 fan site operator Greg Moss and film critic David Bradley
• Interviews with Academy Award-winning special FX artist Colin Chilvers and actor Roy Dotrice
• Deleted scene
• Additional scenes from the network television version
• Theatrical trailer
• TV spots
• Still gallery

Retail price is $26.99, but it can be pre-ordered from Shout!’s website for $21.95.
