“SCREAM” again on MTV

Looks like you really can’t kill Ghostface—a TV series based on the hit big-screen franchise is now in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, MTV has made an official pilot order for a one-hour SCREAM show. Wes Craven, who helmed all four of the features, is in talks to direct the pilot, while the project is currently out to writers (there’s no indication yet of whether creator/screenwriter Kevin Williamson will be involved). DiGa Vision will produce, and former MTV executives Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley are executive producers. If SCREAM gets a series order, it will premiere in summer 2014, joining TEEN WOLF and AWKWARD on MTV’s slate of scripted shows.
