[SDCC ’13] “GODZILLA” Poster, Director teases an encounter

Certainly for FANGORIA, GODZILLA is one of the most anticipated panels at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con. First thing Saturday morning, Legendary, Warner Bros and director Gareth Edwards will be talking the surely monstrous movie, and they’ve already begun to tease it. A fantastic early poster for the film has debuted, as well as a video message from Edwards with a viral site that warns of some sort of encounter during the convention.

Tracking something in the water for just under a week now, Godzilla Encounter is showing a path directly toward the California coast. It’s something that Gareth Edwards is calling very exciting, and just could be the iconic monster rising from the ocean for all convention-goers to see.

Until then, IGN has debuted this teaser poster for the film, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston. No word if it will be physically available at the show, but I suspect many of you will hope it is.
