See “RAZE” with Zoë Bell in NYC next week


Actress/stuntwoman Zoë Bell has her largest role yet and also serves as a producer on the new action/shocker RAZE, and New York City fans can see her in person at a screening of the movie next week.

As part of its “Zoë Bell: From Stuntwoman to Star” series, The Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35th Avenue in Astoria, Queens) will present a special screening of RAZE next Tuesday, January 7 at 7 p.m., with Bell in attendance. She plays the film’s heroine Sabrina, one of numerous women who are abducted and forced to fight in brawls to the death in matches staged by a club of wealthy deviants. The cast also includes Rachel Nichols, Tracie Thoms, Rebecca Marshall, Bailey Anne Borders, Adrienne Wilkinson, Allene Quincy and genre regulars Doug Jones and Sherilyn Fenn; RAZE hits VOD and select theaters next Friday, Jan. 10 from IFC. The “Stuntwoman to Star” showcase also includes screenings of WHIP IT and DEATH PROOF tomorrow, Jan. 4 and both volumes of KILL BILL on Sunday, Jan. 5; go here for more details.
