Star to attend free NYC screening of sci-fi thriller “TIME LAPSE” this Monday!

Actor George Finn (JUST BEFORE I GO) will be attending FANGORIA/STARLOG’s free screening of TIME LAPSE in New York City this coming Monday, May 11 at 7 p.m. The special showing of the Hitchcockian sci-fi thriller will be held at the Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, off University Place). Directed and co-written (with BP Cooper) by Bradley King, TIME LAPSE stars Matt O’Leary (FRAILTY, STUNG), Danielle Panabaker (FRIDAY THE 13TH and THE CRAZIES remakes) and John Rhys-Davies of the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. Finn, whose television credits include COLD CASE, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, THE MENTALIST and 90210, plays Jasper in the festival fave.

TIME LAPSE explores the possibilities of time travel through a machine that is capable of taking pictures 24 hours into the future. When three friends discover this mysterious machine in their neighbor’s apartment, they encounter a number of pressing questions, not least of which is the whereabouts of their neighbor. Realizing the machine’s potential impact, Finn (Leary), Jasper (Finn) and Callie (Panabaker) attempt to cash in on their discovery. But when a dangerous criminal learns their secret, the friends must set aside their differences and confront the paradox of a future that was once predetermined and entirely uncertain.

The Fango screening of TIME LAPSE will be a free show; to obtain tickets, send an e-mail to fangoriascreening@gmail.com. You must list “TIME LAPSE” as your subject line and provide us your full name. Offer is good for you and one guest. Names will be checked at the door. Offer is first come, first served, and we will confirm your rsvp. Seating is not guaranteed, however. This exclusive event is presented by our pals at XLrator Media, who release TIME LAPSE to VOD, iTunes and in theaters on May 15.

Dave Ollerton called TIME LAPSE a “terrific, tight and twisted time travel thriller, while Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival placed TIME LAPSE in the “tradition of the Golden Age of classic science fiction, the era that gave us THE TWILIGHT ZONE.” One Minute Movie Reviews said TIME LAPSE “…kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. A time travel movie that actually makes perfect sense.” See TIME LAPSE’s official website here and watch for a preview on this site soon..

So determine your future, New Yorkers, and mark your calendar to see TIME LAPSE on Monday. FANGO Editor Emeritus Tony Timpone will be hosting the show. Yet another great movie presented by Fangoria.com!
