“THE CONSPIRACY” coming later this Summer

Christopher MacBride’s neat little found footage thriller about global about the possibility of shadowy collusion and string pulling from an ancient, secret society has been picked up by XLRATOR Media.

I saw THE CONSPIRACY at Fantastic Fest last September, where it proved a little bit of a surprise. In keeping with its plot, not much was known, but it turned out tight and well done, something increasingly rare in cinema scarité. The folks who saw fit to release acclaimed festival films like THALE and AMERICAN MARY have finally acquired the movie and have plans to release later this summer. In the film, two young filmmakers (played by Aaron Poole and Jim Gilbert) select a crazed conspiracy theorist as the subject of their new movie, but have no idea the terrifying peril they will put themselves in. When the man disappears without a trace, the filmmakers begin an obsessive quest to uncover the truth that will lead them to an ancient and dangerous secret society.
