TIFF ’15: Exclusive “DEMON” poster leaves a mess

Premiering as part of the Vanguard section of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival is the bizarre domestic chiller DEMON. We’ve got an exclusive first look at the poster plus the trailer past the jump.

DEMON was directed by Polish filmmaker Marcin Wrona, from a script he wrote with Pawel Maslona. The synopsis: “A young man is a stranger visiting the hometown of his future wife. As a wedding gift from the bride’s grandfather, he receives a piece of land where the two can build a house and raise a happy family. While preparing the land to build the house, he finds the bones of human bodies in the ground beneath his new property. Strange things begin to happen to change this happy couple’s life forever.” TIFF runs September 10-20; go here for more info on the festival’s genre offerings.
