Toronto: Win tickets to see “THE ACT OF KILLING” at TIFF Bell Lightbox!

Although not a horror film by definition, Joshua Oppenheimer’s searing documentary THE ACT OF KILLING is infinitely horrifying.

In it, the filmmakers enlist the surviving members of an anti-communist group who conducted sanctioned mass murders of tens of thousands of Indonesian men, women and children. Hailed as heroes in their country, Oppenheimer gets the men to re-enact their vulgar crimes for the camera, complete with gory special FX. As the men chortle their way through their ersatz murder, the idea slowly but surely dawns on them that, just maybe, what they did was in fact not heroic at all. What follows is a deeply upsetting glimpse into the darkest side of humanity.

After a successful festival run, Drafthouse Films releases THE ACT OF KILLING in Toronto at the TIFF Bell Lightbox on July 19th. FANGORIA has three run of engagements good for any screening during the film’s run.

To win, simply email chris@Fangoria.com with the title of the film in the subject. Good Luck!
