Toys of Terror #33

Welcome to TOYS OF TERROR, Fango’s weekly feature exhibiting the coolest horror accessories across the web. Whether you’re a collector, connoisseur or simply making your love of horror a family affair, these petrifying playthings are likely to impress even the most heartless horror fan. So if you’re searching for a ghoulish gift, look no further…

Our first Toy of Terror this week is a little something for those with an international taste, specifically one for human flesh: Lucio Fulci’s ZOMBIE Bobble Head! Standing at 7-inches tall, this shaky replica from Drastic Plastic is a difficult find, as it’s original printing was limited to 1000 pieces and most sites have sold out. However, you can get this masterfully sculpted polyresin bad boy while supplies last for $24.99 here.
Next up is one of the more expensive collectibles this week, yet one that may be worth the steep price for SILENT HILL die-hards: Medicom’s Robbie The Rabbit replica! Coming complete with a chainsaw, pipe and figure stand, this 12-inch figure carries a screen-accurate depiction of the ever-creepy SILENT HILL baddie. While regular horror fans may not be interest, SILENT HILL fans can add this demented Robbie figure to their collection for $269.99 here.
Coming in at number three this week’s Toys of Terror is another offering for ravenous WALKING DEAD fans, especially those who can’t get enough of FANGORIA’s current cover boy, Daryl Dixon! From McFarlane Toys, this Daryl Dixon figure stands at 10-inches tall and carries a screen-accurate design from a full 3-D scan of actor Norman Reedus himself. Also including removable poncho, screen-accurate vest and hunting knife / crossbow accessories, preorder the perfect present for WALKING DEAD fans this holiday season for $32.99 here.
Our fourth Toy of Terror is another addition from the good folks at Distinctive Dummies, featuring the latest piece from their acclaimed Boris Karloff collection: Edmond Bateman from THE RAVEN! Officially licensed by Karloff Enterprises, this 8-inch figure is hand-sculpted by Steve Thompson and hand painted as well. Featuring custom-made clothing as well as collectible and numbered packaging, this limited edition replica comes in at $80 (inclusive of worldwide shipping) here.
And the last Toy of Terror for this week is another bankbreaker, but for good reason: the memorabilia masters at Sideshow Toys have created the definitive replica for fans of Dark Horse’s HELLBOY comics! Standing at 23-inches tall, this collectible is a near-perfect representation of Mike Mignola’s HELLBOY, with a detailed tombstone base and several interchangeable parts, including a Left Hand featuring both a sword and “The Samaritan” as well as his Anung Un Rama Horns and Crown. Also featuring a real- fabric coat and belt accessories, as well as a frog and snake accessory for the base, this impressive HELLBOY figure comes in at $359.99 (or a payment plan of $160.00 a month) and is limited to 1500 pieces here.
