Toys of Terror #54

Welcome to TOYS OF TERROR, Fango’s weekly feature exhibiting the coolest horror accessories across the web. Whether you’re a collector, connoisseur or simply making your love of horror a family affair, these petrifying playthings are likely to impress even the most heartless horror fan. So if you’re searching for a ghoulish gift, look no further…

Our first Toy of Terror this week is for big, big spenders who also might be vying for the title of “biggest PREDATOR fan imaginable”: Sideshow Toys’ massive PREDATOR 2 Maquette. Standing at 28 and ½-inches tall and weighing 20 pounds, this 1:4 scale Predator includes two additional swap out accessory hands; one grasps the deadly Smart-Disc projectile weapon and the second holds a breathing mask apparatus the hunter is seen using after losing his primary bio-mask. Hand painted and sculpted by the impressive folks at Viggiano Studios, this limited edition PREDATOR 2 figure goes for $1,199.00 or a payment plan of $216 a month here.

Next up is yet another great Funko POP! miniature, offering the titular terrorizer from Bryan Fuller’s HANNIBAL. Standing at 3 and ¾-inches tall, this vinyl figure depicts the sharp-dressed Dr. Hannibal Lecter alongside an even sharper cooking knife. For the perfect toy to go alongside Fuller’s upcoming HANNIBAL-centric FANGORIA #343, you can pick this bad boy up for a mere $9.99 here.

Coming in at number three this week is a new entry from Diamond Selects from their impressive Universal Monsters line, bringing back to life Lon Cheney Jr.’s iconic WOLFMAN! Meticulously sculpted by the famed Jean St. Jean, this Wolfman figure features 16 points of articulation and stands at 7-inches tall. Presented on a brand new base specifically for this reissue, you can pre-order this beloved lycanthrope for $22.99 here.

Our fourth Toy of Terror is something simple yet special for fans of THE WALKING DEAD, as we have Merle’s Knife-Hand from Think Geek’s recently unveiled line of WALKING DEAD prop replicas. Measuring 22 and ½-inches long, this plastic replica of Merle Dixon’s prosthetic arm with bayonet is a perfect fit for fans and cosplayers alike. A great gift for the walker stalker in your life, you can wield this bad mother for $29.99 here.

Lastly, Toys of Terror rounds out this week with another addition from Distinctive Dummies, who recently added a freakish figure from THE HIDEOUS SUN DEMON! This 8-inch tall figure comes hand painted and with custom handmade clothes as well as a likeness sculpted by Ron Gearing. With a Type-S Bandless Body, this limited edition Sun Demon goes for $80 (inclusive of worldwide shipping) here.
