Toys of Terror #59

Welcome to TOYS OF TERROR, Fango’s weekly feature exhibiting the coolest horror accessories across the web. Whether you’re a collector, connoisseur or simply making your love of horror a family affair, these petrifying playthings are likely to impress even the most heartless horror fan. So if you’re searching for a ghoulish gift, look no further…

The first Toy of Terror is a massive collectible from Morbid Enterprises, and will be the holy grail for Burton die-hards: the life-sized animated BEETLEJUICE statue! Standing at 6-feet tall, this sound-and-motion activated replica of the beloved ghoul features light-up eyes as well as multiple audio sound tracks. Swaying from side-to-side when activated, this huge BEETLEJUICE replica goes for a pricey $214.99 here.

Next up is something for those whose tastes are a bit more classically tuned: the black-and-white Universal Monsters FRANKENSTEIN bust bank from Diamond Select! Standing 8-inches tall, this finely detailed, sculpted, and painted replica of FRANKENSTEIN comes in its original color scheme (or absence of) and features a coin slot on the back. The first in Diamond Select’s line of Universal Monster bank busts, you can get this landmark creature for $19.99 here.

Our third Toy of Terror this week is another entry from the folks at Funko, as we feature their POP! vinyl figure of Misty Day from AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN! As per usual, this figure stands at 3-and-¾ inches tall and features the POP! style replica of Lily Rabe’s character in the third season of the anthology series. And as with most POP! figures, you can pick this witchy woman figure for $9.99 here.

Coming in at number four this week is something from Dark Horse; a collectible for fans of one of their most popular monsters: The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense Logo from HELLBOY! This red neon sign glows red atop a black base, and can either be displayed on a flat surface or hung. Measuring in at 13-inches tall by 9-and-1/4-inches wide, you can get this creepy comic collectible for $99.99 here.

Lastly, Toys of Terror rounds out this week with another inclusion from Distinctive Dummies, with their latest Boris Karloff figure from THE OLD DARK HOUSE! This 8-inch tall figure comes with custom handmade clothes, hand-painted decor as well as an officially licensed likeness sculpted by Joe Hope. Limited to only 100 pieces, this “Morgan the Butler” one-of-a-kind replica goes for $80 (inclusive of worldwide shipping) here.
