Toys of Terror #65

Welcome to TOYS OF TERROR, Fango’s weekly feature exhibiting the coolest horror accessories across the web. Whether you’re a collector, connoisseur or simply making your love of horror a family affair, these petrifying playthings are likely to impress even the most heartless horror fan. So if you’re searching for a ghoulish gift, look no further…

Our first Toy of Terror this week comes from the people at McFarlane Toys as they bring one of THE WALKING DEAD’s most beloved characters to the action figure space in his undead form: Merle Dixon! Standing at 5-inches tall and boasting 22 points of articulation, this version of Merle Dixon as he was left in Season 3 was originally released as a part of McFarlane’s Series 5 set of WALKING DEAD TV figures. Now at the low, low price of $7.00, you can add this zombified fan favorite to your collection HERE.

Coming in at number two this week is a collectible from newcomer outlet Bowen Designs, who offer a 16-inch spin on Frankenstein’s Monster! Made of Polystone and weighing in over 10 lbs, this highly detailed and grey-skinned take on Mary Shelley’s monstrous creation is among the finest interpretations ever produced and comes with a uniquely designed base. A limited edition release, this massive monster comes in at a hefty $264.99 HERE.

Next up is another trusted Universal Monster release from the gang over at Diamond Select Toys, who offer a revisited take on Universal’s MUMMY figure! Completely resculpted by acclaimed artist Jean St. Jean, this 7-inch figure comes with 16 points of articulation as well as an all-new diorama base and custom packaging. A must-have for fans of the eerie Egyptian monster, you can pre-order this creepy collectible for $22.99 HERE.

Our fourth Toy of Terror this week is another addition from Mezco Toyz, and features one of the most sought-after entries in their Living Dead Doll line: the DRACULA figure! Standing at 10-inches tall, this DRACULA figure comes in the traditional Living Dead Doll design, complete with his trademark cape, medallion, rin and watch chain. Presented in a collector-friendly DRACULA-themed window box, you can add this bloodsucker to your LDD collection for $22.94 HERE.

Last but not least for the 65th Toys of Terror is an impressive entry from Hollywood Collectibles, presenting a 1:4 scale Lycan Statue from the UNDERWORLD series! 23-inches tall and made out of heavyweight polystone, this 30+ pound figure comes hand-painted with a movie-appropriate display base. As ferocious on the eyes as it is on your wallet, this Lycan statue comes at an understandably steep $329.99 HERE.
