Trailer: Fox’s “SLEEPY HOLLOW” series doesn’t seem real

“Put your hands on your head!” screams a cop at the Headless Horseman. Because, you know…

I’m quite amazed by the trailer for upcoming FOX series, SLEEPY HOLLOW. The full-length promo plays like brilliant satire of the current, and ever dumb, revisionist history literary mashup supernatural trend. Your eyes will widen at a resurrected/time travel sleeping Ichabod Crane and reach your fucking feet by the time exposition-heavy witch dreams, occult orders, NATIONAL TREASURE-ish secret doings of the founding fathers, biblical stakes, mismatched buddy cops and super hilarious Starbucks jokes come into play.

If you’re curious what’s actually happening, “ICHABOD CRANE  is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.”

SLEEPY HOLLOW is Mondays this fall. Can’t wait!
