Trailer: Our Friend ‘Til The End is Back in “CURSE OF CHUCKY”

The Good Guy Doll may be smoothed over and a bit more clean cut than his previously stitched-up incarnation, but Chucky looks as vicious as ever.

Chucky’s got some pretty strange-looking facial expressions going on in CURSE OF CHUCKY, Don Mancini’s attempt to bring the tiny killer back to his more sinister roots. They’re strange as in weirdly unsettling, and it’s feeling great to be excited about about a new film in the series.

In CURSE OF CHUCKY, “when a mysterious package arrives at the house of Nica (Fiona Dourif, True Blood), she doesn’t give it much thought. However, after her mother’s mysterious death, Nica begins to suspect that the talking, red-haired doll her visiting niece has been playing with may be the key to the ensuing bloodshed and chaos.” Brad Dourif returns to voice the little ginger in what looks like a lot of fun.

CURSE OF CHUCKY is arriving straight to DVD & Blu on October 8th. [Mashable]
