Uwe Boll is directing his last movie “RAMPAGE 3” after all

The failure of Uwe Boll’s Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns for the third in his RAMPAGE film series led him to post a very angry YouTube video suggesting he was quitting the business, but now he has found the backing to make the movie as his final feature.

Word has come down that Boll (whose very NSFW YouTube rant can be seen at the bottom of this page) is currently shooting RAMPAGE 3: NO MERCY, which once again stars Brendan Fletcher as a young man taking out his grudges against society in an extremely violent manner. This time, he takes his personal war to Capitol Hill, and RAMPAGE 3 will be lensing on location in Washington, D.C. as well as in Langley and Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Following its completion, Boll will focus on co-producing and global distribution through his Event Film company, as well as running his Bauhaus Restaurant, which opened last year in the Gastown section of Vancouver to far higher praise than he’s found for his films.

If RAMPAGE 3 is indeed Boll’s last hurrah as a director, it will mean the end of a contentious but undeniably attention-grabbing career. Will you miss him? Let us know on our Facebook page!
