Video Q&A: Shane West and Ashley Madekwe talk “SALEM” Season Two!

For fans of wicked witches, they don’t get much more wicked than on WGN America’s SALEM. And with the second season looking to push more boundaries and to go into even darker places, FANGORIA was lucky enough to get the full SALEM experience earlier this month and sit down with the cast and crew of the serialized scare fare, including stars Shane West and Ashley Madekwe!

While genre fans may recognize West from his work on DRACULA 2000 or his memorable guest turn on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, SALEM fans know him as John Alden, whose character will come face to face with the sinister side of SALEM in this upcoming season. Madekwe is known to fans of SALEM as Tituba, who is at a crossroads in season two when her allegiance is tested during the impending Witch War. And in our video interview below, West and Madekwe open up about the second season of SALEM as well as their connections to real supernatural legends…

SALEM returns on WGN America on Sunday, April 5th at 10 p.m. EST. You can currently catch up with the first season on Netflix Instant, Amazon Instant and Amazon DVD on-demand. Stay tuned here at FANGORIA.com for more interviews from the set of SALEM!
