While unsure if this is a landmark in unnecessary rebootquel culture, or simply an alarming test of just how far my ambivalence goes, THE SHINING prequel is happening nontheless. Get excited?

Deadline is reporting that now ex-WALKING DEAD showrunner Glen Mazzara will quite possibly (in talks to) pen the threatened SHINING prequel, THE OVERLOOK HOTEL. Since it’s just in development, no direction-hinting details have been revealed. Will he explore all of the Overlook’s ghosts? The prior, similar-sounding tragedy Stuart Ullman speaks of? The furries? I simply must know where he got that costume.
