Want to screen “AXE GIANT”? Here’s how!

We reported yesterday that the mountain-man-monster flick AXE GIANT: THE WRATH OF PAUL BUNYAN is stomping toward release in the coming months. Now we’ve got info on how you can get it screened in your area.

Cinema Pugatorio, which is handling domestic bookings for the film, is casting its net to find venues to show AXE GIANT. As they put it on their webpage:

“Do you have a neighborhood movie theater or meeting hall?

A horror movie club?

A lumberjack camp or hunting lodge?

Are you a member of a gun club looking for a good reason to get everyone together, and are a little curious about that snooty little movie theater down the street?

Does your city have a giant statue of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, and need an excuse to celebrate that?”

If so, you can set up a screening via a link on that page. You can also register to be notified by e-mail about when and where the film will be shown. Directed by Gary Jones, AXE GIANT reimagines the legendary Paul Bunyan as a towering, blade-wielding monster who terrorizes a group of youthful offenders on a boot-camp trip into the forest, and stars Joe Estevez, Dan Haggerty, Tom Downey, and Tim Lovelace, Amber Connor, Jesse Kove, Kristina Kopf, Clifton Williams, Victoria Ramos, Jill Evyn and former WWF wrestler Chris Hahn. Bruce Campbell says, “I enjoyed the hell out of it!” What more of a recommendation do you need?
