Watch Now: Daniel Romero’s Terrifying Short “DON’T LOOK THERE” (No Mires Ahí)

One of the boons of filmmaking becoming more accessible than ever is the amount of imaginative genre shorts from around the world. Horror that was once limited to the confines of film festivals and, if you were lucky, production offices, have found a home online where they can reach audiences who may never had initially given them a chance. And today, FANGORIA has another short by the way of our friends at Spanish Fear: Daniel Romero’s genuinely scary ghost story DON’T LOOK THERE!

Produced by Kamel Films, DON’T LOOK THERE has been celebrated at film festivals from around the globe, and stars Sandra Blázquez, Celine Peña, Maru Valdivielso and [REC]2’s Jonathan David Mellor. It’s far creepier than one might expect, especially with the concept (which this writer would dare not spoil), and Daniel Romero proves himself a budding fright filmmaker worth watching. You can check out the 15-minute short for free below, and if you like it, don’t forget to pass it around.
