When and where Elijah Wood’s “GRAND PIANO” will play

Stage fright takes on a whole new meaning in GRAND PIANO, starring MANIAC’s Elijah Wood and coming to screens big and small early next year. Read on for the details.

Directed by Eugenio Mira of THE BIRTHDAY, GRAND PIANO is a very tense Hitchcockian piece in which Wood plays Tom Selznick, a star pianist returning to the stage for the first time in five years since a disastrous performance. Just as he’s getting ready to tackle a challenging composition, he suddenly finds himself thrust into a situation in which he must literally play for his life. Magnet Releasing debuts GRAND PIANO on VOD January 30, followed by select theatrical release March 7. Look for coverage of the movie in Fango #331, on sale in February.
